Dear Sir or Madam, we are pleased to announce that the VOXEL Group has joined a nationwide lung cancer prevention program funded by the National Health Fund (NFZ).
The program offers a free low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) scan, which helps detect lung cancer at an early stage.
If you are between the ages of 50 and 74 and currently smoke or have smoked in the past, check to see if you qualify for the program.
The program is being carried out at the VOXEL facility in Bydgoszcz.

Do we carry out tests on children?
Computed Tomography (CT) – yes – from the age of 16,
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) – yes – from the age of 16.
Notes:
For the scan to be carried out, the child must be able to lie still and remain motionless for the entire duration of the procedure. The scan is performed without general anaesthesia – this type of anaesthesia may only be administered by an anaesthesia team. The decision to administer a contrast agent is made by the radiologist on a case-by-case basis.
