About the facility
The Voxel Medical Diagnostic Centre is located within the ‘M Park Zielone Tarasy’ Shopping Centre in Elbląg (Level 0). We provide highly specialised services in the field of diagnostic imaging. We are able to provide you with access to the best radiologists for CT scans, MRI scans and ultrasound scans. This is all thanks to the latest technologies we use to guarantee the highest quality of medical care.
We carry out CT and MRI scans under a contract with the NATIONAL HEALTH FUND. Commercial scans are available under contracts with PZU, Polmed, Allianz, Inter Polska, Lux Med, Enel Med, Medicover, Saltus, Compensa, Świat Zdrowia. We also carry out scans on a private-pay basis.
The CT scan suite is equipped with a state-of-the-art multi-slice CT scanner, the REVOLUTION MAXIMA from GE. We specialise in the diagnosis of diseases of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems, as well as diseases of the respiratory and digestive systems, and in CT angiography, including coronary CT angiography.
The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suite is equipped with the latest-generation SIGNA ARTIST scanner, featuring a high-field strength of 1.5 T. Our equipment is fitted with the ARDL system, which helps to prevent artefacts and produce more accurate images. It ensures shorter scan times, which enhances patient comfort. We specialise in the diagnosis of disorders of the nervous, musculoskeletal, digestive and genitourinary systems. We are the only centre in the region to also carry out MR angiography, for example of the pelvis or lower limbs, for patients who have contraindications to CT scans.

Do we carry out tests on children?
Computed Tomography (CT) – yes – from the age of 4,
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) – yes – from the age of 4.
Notes:
For the scan to be carried out, the child must be able to lie still and remain motionless for the entire duration of the procedure. The scan is performed without general anaesthesia – this type of anaesthesia may only be administered by an anaesthesia team. The decision to administer a contrast agent is made by the radiologist on a case-by-case basis.
