About the facility

The Voxel Clinic in Zabrze is equipped with a 1.5 Tesla Signa Voyager magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner manufactured by GE. The clinic carries out a range of complex examinations, and the reports for these examinations are prepared by staff with extensive experience in radiology and diagnostic imaging. The Voxel Clinic in Zabrze is situated at 39 Trocera Dionizego Street, 41-819, in the building which for many years housed the Mekona furniture shop.

The Voxel Diagnostic Imaging Centre carries out examinations under a contract with the National Health Fund (NFZ) as well as private examinations.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) – yes – from the age of 4.

Note:
For the scan to be carried out, the child must be able to lie still and remain motionless for the entire duration of the procedure. The scan is performed without general anaesthesia – this type of anaesthesia may only be administered by an anaesthesia team. The decision to administer a contrast agent is made by the radiologist on a case-by-case basis.

How to get there

The studio is located near the main transport hub on Johann Wolfgang Goethe Street and the railway station. From the transport hub, you can take bus numbers 250, 720 and 270, and from the tram stop next to Zabrze Town Hall, you can take trams 1, 2 and 4.
