About the facility
The Voxel Diagnostic Imaging Centre is located on the premises of the MSWiA Hospital in Łódź; we employ a team of highly experienced radiologists, and our state-of-the-art magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner enables us to carry out examinations that meet all the criteria set out in the National Health Fund (NFZ) regulations. The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) unit is equipped with a GE Signa Explorer scanner with a high-field strength of 1.5 T.
We specialise in multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) of the prostate in accordance with PI-RADS guidelines, as well as in the diagnosis of diseases of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems, including spinal conditions, and in the diagnosis of cancer.
The centre also carries out MR angiography examinations. We invite patients to undergo examinations at our centre, both under the National Health Fund (NFZ) scheme and on a private basis. In return, we offer short waiting times for examinations and reports, as well as a friendly and welcoming atmosphere during your visit to our centre. Our MRI centre holds ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 certification, issued by TÜV Rheinland.
Our Clinic is one of the few to have been included in the ‘SM: Time Matters (MRI Diagnostics)’ Programme, which aims to increase access to MRI scans for patients with multiple sclerosis.

Do we carry out tests on children?
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) – yes – from the age of 4.
Notes:
For the scan to be carried out, the child must be able to lie still and remain motionless for the entire duration of the procedure. The scan is performed without general anaesthesia – this type of anaesthesia may only be administered by an anaesthesia team. The decision to administer a contrast agent is made by the radiologist on a case-by-case basis.

How to get there
The VOXEL Magnetic Resonance Imaging Unit is located on the premises of the MSWiA Hospital in Łódź.
To get to the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Unit, enter from Północna Street via the entrance with the barrier for ambulances, then walk straight through the courtyard to the very end on the right-hand side.
By car
The car park is situated around the hospital grounds, on Źródłowa Street and Józefa Dwernickiego Street. Free of charge.
