About the facility
The clinic in Brzesko is the second MRI clinic – after the one in Dąbrowa Tarnowska – to have been opened in 2017 by Rezonans Powiśle.
The department is located on level -1 of the Brzesko Healthcare Centre building. We offer professional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, which are becoming one of the fundamental diagnostic tools in modern medicine. The General Electric – Signa Creator scanner we use, with a magnetic field strength of 1.5T, ensures high-quality MRI scans. The unit carries out both scans covered by the National Health Fund (NFZ) and private appointments.

Do we carry out tests on children?
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) – yes – from the age of 10.
Notes:
A prerequisite for the examination is that the child is able to lie still and remain motionless for the entire duration of the procedure. Minimum weight: 40 kg. The examination is carried out without general anaesthesia – this type of anaesthesia may only be administered by an anaesthesia team. The decision to administer a contrast agent is made by the radiologist on a case-by-case basis.

How to get there
The clinic is situated on the A4 motorway between Kraków and Tarnów (about 3 km from the motorway exit). Its convenient location in the centre of Brzesko also allows patients to reach it by public transport.
