About the facility

The Voxel Diagnostic Imaging Centre in Zamość is situated on the premises of the Zamość Private Hospital, in the single-storey Building No. 5, directly opposite the main entrance gate. There are convenient parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. The centre is equipped with a high-quality 1.5-tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner manufactured by GE SIGNA Explorer Healthcare. We carry out both National Health Fund (NFZ) and private scans. 

A modern workshop equipped with new machinery – installed in the first half of 2021 and upgraded in 2023.

A qualified team that is constantly developing its skills and actively taking part in training courses in Poland and abroad.

Do we carry out tests on children?

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) – yes – from the age of 10,

Note:
For the scan to be carried out, the child must be able to lie still and remain motionless for the entire duration of the procedure. The scan is performed without general anaesthesia – this type of anaesthesia may only be administered by an anaesthesia team. The decision to administer a contrast agent is made by the radiologist on a case-by-case basis.

Dr n. med. Katarzyna Dyndor

About me

Dr Katarzyna Dyndor, MD – a graduate of the Medical University of Lublin, she was awarded a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree in 2010 in the field of anatomy; she is a specialist in radiology and diagnostic imaging, and Head of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, at the 1st Military Clinical Hospital with Polyclinic (SPZOZ) in Lublin. Dr Dyndor is a member of the Polish Medical Radiological Society, the Polish Anatomical Society, the European Society of Radiology and the European Society of Urogenital Radiology; she is the co-author of numerous publications and conference papers.

She is constantly expanding her knowledge and practical skills by attending scientific conferences, training sessions and courses both at home and abroad. Her research interests focus on the diagnosis of oncological diseases using modern imaging techniques and hybrid methods. She specialises in the diagnosis of prostate cancer, diseases of the abdomen and pelvis, and heart conditions. She most enjoys spending her free time cycling with her family.
