About the facility

The NZOZ MCD Voxel PET-CT Unit in Białystok is located within the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Oncology Centre in Białystok. It is the first centre to provide highly specialised diagnostic services in the Podlaskie Voivodeship. Positron emission tomography (PET-CT) scans are most commonly used in the diagnosis of cancer; they enable treatment planning, monitoring of treatment outcomes and assessment of treatment efficacy. We also provide services relating to clinical trials (Alzheimer’s disease, pulmonary sarcoidosis, ankylosing spondylitis).
